The Miami Hurricanes came to Ft. Myers to play the FGCU Eagles at Hammond Stadium. With a beautiful evening, and a decent turnout, the game went into a 10th inning when the 9th ended tied 2-2, but the Eagles could not hold the Hurricanes off, scoring two more runs in the top, and with the Eagles unable to bring any more in themselves in the bottom, finishing 4-2.
