Ave Maria did not have a prayer against the FGCU eagles on Saturday night as they came away on the short end of a 79-56 game before a record setting crowd. With both teams hot at the 3 point line, it was an exciting match. FGCU couldn't find their foul shots, pathetically hitting under a third of them; fortunately they were over 50% overall, and had two double-doubles from Hicks and Comer.
