With the season standings seriously on the line (FGCU was tied for 3rd), the Eagles kept the fans on the edge of their seats right up to the end, finally pulling ahead on free throws and contested plays, with the clock actually working backwards, first 0.6 seconds, then 0.8, then 1.6 as the referrees continued to consult the instant replay. Finally the Eagles put it to bed 68-63. Here are some shots from the game.
