In a battle for the #1 standing, Mercer came to FGCU, but was sent home with a resounding win. Tied up several times, the Eagles ran up about 8 unanswered baskets, putting them into a lead that could not be challanged. Tedious and careful fouling in the last two minutes narrowed the win to 75-61. Below are images of the game.
