The Golden Eagles from Southern Mississippi came to Ft. Myers to take on the Eagles from FGCU, and it was quite a battle of the Raptors. Playing a full court press almost the entire game, the Golden Eagles were effective at disrupting FGCU's passes, and caused many turnovers, but hot three point shooting and late game close in work kept the Eagles in front most of the game to finish with a win at 78-62.
