The Eagles were a bit off their game for the first half, with quite a few turnovers, but a combination of great defense at the goal and a few hard pushes put them ahead by one. A recharged group took to the field later, and dominated play, with almost ten times the shots on goal (but a surprising few connections), to finish with a two-zero shutout.
